Here, the artist probes the instances of his mind, his relationship to the cosmos and the inscription of his being in the heart of the universe.
Butō is a dance born in Japan in the 1960s. This dance of the dark body is a break with the traditional live arts of no and kabuki. The Japanese term Butō is composed of two ideograms, the first one, bu, means to dance and the second, tō, to knock on the ground. It evokes a grotesque imagery, taboo subjects, extreme environments, absurd. The Butō is commonly danced with the almost naked body, painted white and the skull shaved, often interpreted with extremely slow movements. Choreography Emmanuel Flores - With: Emmanuel Flores
